You are now in the Processor Dependent Code (PDC) portion of the boot sequence. This is the first step in booting. It resides in firmware on the box and varies from HP to HP, so what you see may look a bit different (hence the name Processor Dependent Code). I will walk you through various interesting functions of PDC. First of all, there is some (lame) help available. Type help main to see the help for main, help boot, to see the help for boot, etc. Here is the help for main.
